So I've been doing a little painting lately, and I thought I'd share with you my favourite piece from this week. It sums up all the things I love... blue, turqoise, purple, black and white and texture. I'm really quite happy with it. I think I'll get a thick black frame and hang it in our bedroom.

I think your painting is terrific. I'm so sorry about your beloved cat, it's terrible when they die early. I lost my cat as a teen to cancer at about the same age as yours, it was heart breaking. My condolences.
